Delivery List for Film and Video

Master (digital foundation document)

‘Master copy’ refers to the final edited, mastered film and/or video in the best quality, with complete audio and text.

Variants and versions should be submitted so that masters reflect the distribution formats.

The master should be without further compression, packaging, or data reduction in any other way. This means that resolution, color space, lighting, etc., in the timeline are maintained.

The file format is to be delivered in open and standardized formats, given support in software and production equipment. Preferably, this should be submitted in one or more formats for cinema, TV, VOD, and UHD masters:

EXR (lossless)

TIFF (lossless)
Jpeg2000 (lossless)
Prores4444

Audio master (digital foundation document)

Including audio for audio description and audio subtitling

The final mix/audio master should reflect the audio systems used in the film or video, such as stereo, 2.0, 5.1, 7.1, Atmos, etc. M&E and Stems can be voluntarily delivered. The audio is preferably delivered in one of these formats:
