| About the library | Deichman is responsible for managing the library at Oslo University Hospital (OUS) at Rikshospitalet. The library can be used by patients, their next of kin and employees at OUS. Our librarians deliver books and other material to patients who are unable to leave their room. Our library offer a varied selection of books, audio books, comic books, magazines, music, film, video games and electronical players. We have a desktop computer with internet connection for our users. Deichman OUS Rikshospitalet is responsible for the small, free book collections that are placed in different departments of the hospital. Artotek: On the wall outside the library we have various paintings that patients can barrow for their room. | ||||||
| Loan period and charges | Deichman OUS Rikshospitalet Opening Hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10 - 18 Tuesday, Friday: 10 - 16 Saturday: 10 - 15 (Closed on Saturdays during June, July, August) Sunday: Closed Patients and their next of kin will not recieve fines or replacement fees. Employees follow the general regulations for Deichman. | ||||||
