Korean literature -Modern history and literary trends

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea has the pleasure to present The National Library of Norway with a donation of Korean books and to invite to a meeting between cultures and literature on the 18th of September at The National Library.

The donation will become part of the National Library’s permanent Korean collection and will be available to lend by all libraries in Norway.

11:00-11:45:
Panel discussion with Professor Vladimir Tikhonov, translator Jarne Byhre and poet Erling Kittelsen about modern history and trends in Korean literature.

11:45-11:50
Speech of thanks by National Librarian Aslak Sira Myhre

11:50 – 12:00
Congratulatory speech by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Min-jeong Seo. Hand over                                                 and photography.
